Best suited by this C&D and returning to a competitive mark. However is starting to show a pattern that she is best after a decent break and was a disappointing favourite here last time.

Progressed from Doncaster debut to win at Wolverhampton on her second start but failed to build on that when a beaten favourite at the same C&D. Represents leading connections but a touch more required on handicap debut.

Really appreciated the step up to this trip when winning on soft ground at Thirsk. Handled this surface on her previous visit here and looks on a decent mark on handicap debut.

Showed plenty of ability of ability on her second and third start before being thrown in at the deep end on handicap debut at Goodwood This looks much more suitable and could be on a decent handicap mark.

Forecasts

Inpromptu (1/1), Stoney Broke (5/2), Miss Latin (4/1), Codicil (4/1), Lunar Corona (5/1)

Verdict

Codicil is clearly respected going up in trip for his trainer but there is a concern that he hasn't been seen since May and now the headgear goes on. In the same ownership Lunar Corona could easily improve on what we've seen so far while Impromptu took a nice step forward last start and providing she translates her soft ground win to this surface is an obvious danger. However MISS LATIN can be forgiven her handicap debut in what was an extremely stiff task and is best judged on her previous promise which makes her the pick in a tight contest.
  1. Miss Latin
  2. Inpromptu
  3. Lunar Corona
