5/1
Winner of a single race on the Flat from 12 starts. Yard have had six winners over hurdles this term from over 100 starts. Watching brief on hurdling introduction.
Modest 45-rated handicapper on the Flat and finished well down the field on hurdling debut earlier this month at Roscommon before disappointing again at Killarney. Tough ask.

Modest 53-rated Flat handicapper for trainer Tim Easterby. Related to Dysios and Max's Spirit over the jumps and possible a look to the market is advised on hurdling bow.

Nothing of note in three dismal displays on the Flat for connections. Yard struggling a little of late, without a winner in 17 hurdle starts this term.
11
Horse silk
66/1
Sent off a 150/1 and 200/1 on her last couple of starts on the Flat in the spring. Hard to place any faith in on hurdling debut.

11/10
Solid and stable form in two hurdle starts to date including finishing within 7L of Elysian Plains at Killarney earlier this month. Sets the standard here.

Forecasts

Smiling Eliza (11/10), Irish Minister (5/1), Far Reach (11/2), Lever Du Soleil (7/1), Viscount Wilson (7/1), Mom Said (16/1), It's Paddys Day (25/1), Union Gap (25/1), Hannon (33/1), Amadeus (33/1), Santa Anna (66/1), William of Wykeham (66/1)

Verdict

SMILING ELIZA can land the opener here following her solid form in two starts since making her hurdling debut at the beginning of the month. The Rock Of Gibraltar filly can see off the attentions of stablemate Viscount Wilson and Far Reach, while the Gavin Cromwell trained Mom Said is deserving of a market check on debut in a contest that won't take a great deal of winning.
  1. Smiling Eliza
  2. Far Reach
  3. Mom Said
