Had some decent form on the Flat when with William Knight and took a marked step forward when switched to handicaps over hurdles winning on his debut in that sphere over C&D. Now back into novice company under a penalty.

Finally got off the mark when scoring at Uttoxeter last time out having the run of the race over a similar trip. Has a little work to do at the weights with Captain Peacock but not discounted if he gets the run of the race.

Don McCain runners especially hurdlers are always to be respected at Bangor and Sonic will be tough to beat if allowed to gain a tactical advantage but CAPTAIN PEACOCK has a win to his name over C&D already and could just have too many guns for him. He’s A Goer would be of interest if there was any market support with Richard Johnson taking the ride and a 18-49 (37%) record for the yard over hurdles in the last five seasons.
