Won his first two career starts, the latter of which was a Listed contest at Dundalk. Generally well held on his last three appearances at the Curragh, despite finishing positions and appears to be up against it here.
War Front colt out of a Dynaformer mare. Related to the likes of Roly Poly and U S Navy Flag. Won in facile fashion on debut at Leopardstown when last seen in October. Market check on seasonal bow.
Has finished runner-up on two occasions last month at Leopardstown and Naas in 1m handicaps on good to firm ground. Appeared to get stuck in the soft ground at the Galway festival well held behind Riven Light. Better expected here.
Progressive handicapper who may have been over-whelmed in the Group 3 1,000 guineas trial when last seen in May. Could be up against it here.
Forecasts
Flavius (11/8), Indianapolis (3/1), Tennessee Wildcat (7/1), Muirin (8/1), Drombeg Dream (8/1), Theobald (9/1), Ambassadorial (16/1)
The Dermot Weld-trained FLAVIUS would not have to improve much on his performance when winning at Leopardstown in October to be able to land the spoils here, holding off the scrutiny from the Aiden O'Brien-trained Indianapolis, the consistent Theobald and the highly tried Muirin.
