Just one solid effort in six starts this season, although had soft ground as an excuse at Thirsk last time, and cheekpieces added to usual tongue tie now.
Inconsistent, but won at Ayr (6f) in June, and has run two solid races in defeat at Navan and Down Royal since. Last two efforts have been poor, but he is capable of bouncing back.
C&D winner who is capable at his best, but not firing at present, and only seventh of 10 to One Boy at Beverley last time.
Runner-up in 5f handicaps at Ayr in June, and over C&D last month. Every chance on those efforts, but has run badly twice since (6f both times), and blinkers reached for now. Return to this trip a positive.
A very useful sprinter in his prime, but lost his way until taking advantage of tumbling mark at Ayr last month. Both runs since have been solid, and might have won but for meeting trouble at Yarmouth last time, so one to bear in mind.
Beaten only narrowly at Beverley in July, but has failed to build on that effort, and is easy to oppose on balance of form.
Gives occasional glimpses to suggest he can take advantage of his basement mark, but such signs are becoming rarer, and losing run now stretches back over four years.
Has won his share for connections over the years, and can still show good speed on occasions, but doesn't see his races out these days, and makes limited appeal as a result.
Shock 66/1 winner of a Beverley claimer in 2016, but very patchy record since; belatedly found some form when second to One Boy there last time, but far from certain to back that up.

Mr Shelby (7/4), One Boy (7/4), Dundunah (7/2), Kibaar (5/1), Windforpower (8/1), Newgate Sioux (10/1), Pavers Pride (12/1), Thornaby Princess (20/1), Goninodaethat (25/1), Red Forever (40/1)
KIBAAR finally took advantage of his plummeting mark when winning at Ayr last month, and he should have added to those gains at Yarmouth on his latest start. He is clearly in good heart again, and looks the likeliest winner, bearing in mind his back class. Mr Shelby has been quiet of late, but is expected to bounce back, and is feared along with Beverley winner One Boy.
