London Office Exchange Novices' Chase

Off time: 19:05 | Winning time: 5m 38.00s

Brave Eagle³⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: James Bowen| T: N J Henderson| OR: 144| C

1/2

In good form over the summer months picking up couple of handicap hurdles before embarking on a successful chase debut at Worcester last time out. Beat some useful types there and looks set for more success in this sphere.

Form: 0U-1121

Exxaro^b¹⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 11-6| J: T Scudamore| T: C L Tizzard| OR: 125| D

14/1

The most experienced of these over fences (1-15) it took his 10 runs before he opened his account. His form is still rather in-and-out though and he does tend to make mistakes; work to do at the weights with these two rivals.

Form: P-44132

Jaleo¹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: N de Boinville| T: B Pauling| OR: 138| BF

2/1

Good form over hurdles (3-13) and landed the 2nd of his chase start at Worcester before being let down by his jumping in a tougher grade at Southwell last time. This looks a slightly easier test and he remains with potential over fences.

Form: 629-218

Forecasts

Brave Eagle (1/2), Jaleo (2/1), Exxaro (14/1)

The winning start that BRAVE EAGLE made to his career over fences was hard to fault and at the weights he looks as though he’ll be hard to beat here despite his two rivals also having winning form over the larger obstacles. Both Jaleo and Exxaro have shown some flaws in their jumping technique and that leaves them needing to find something here if they are to get back on the winning trail.
