Failed to trouble the judge in 12 starts so far most recently when beaten 14½L on handicap hurdle bow at Sligo over 2m this month. Needs a step forward.
Seven-race maiden over timber, beaten wide margins each time and nothing to be positive about right now. Readily opposed on form.
Faller in two of three point-to-point starts, not fluent at times on hurdles bow over C&D in July, though some promise. Well held twice in bumpers since.
Tailed off in all three maiden hurdle outings, latest over 2m3½f at Clonmel in May. Would need a massive leap forward on handicap bow to stand a chance and best watched for now.
Only one moderately promising effort from four in bumpers so far, has plenty improvement to find for the introduction of obstacles.
Not always a fluent jumper but has shaped with some promise over longer trips in six starts over timber, though routinely failing to find much in the finish. Worth another try back down at 2m.
Signs of ability in a couple of bumpers and two maiden hurdle starts before finishing tailed off here over 3m last month. Drops right back in trip now.
Well held in three career bumper starts since June and then finished tailed off over hurdles at Cork this month, much to be worked on if hoping to land a blow now.
Fell twice in five attempts over timber in 2016, beaten big margins the other three starst. Now returns from 687-day absence and surely can only be watched.
Sent off 100/1 a Tramore maiden hurdle (2m, good) this month have failed to feature in two bumper starts and outran those odds in finishing 12L fourth of 13. Possible he can build on that now.
Not entirely disgraced on bumper debut in January but hasn't gone on from that, and was well beaten off in two hurdles starts in he spring. Off since and not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Has yet to show anything on the Flat or over hurdles and hard to make any kind of case for following latest poor show at Gowran Park - Flat - and in a Sligo maiden hurdle last week.
Lightly-raced maiden. Had first-time tongue strap on when good fifth of 13 in novice hurdle at Wexford (2m4½f, good) in June, not as good this month at Tramore (2m5f, good) and needs to find a bit more down to 2m.
Nothing outstanding in five starts in maiden hurdles so far, but certainly some positives. All have come over longer trip so interesting to see what unfolds now dropped to 2m.
Forecasts
Mohart (4/1), Sir Tivo (4/1), Tipp Toe (9/2), Deburrafield (6/1), Biddy Be (7/1), Perle Rose (10/1), Whiskeys Brother (14/1), Turpin Tale (14/1), Alfred Eile (28/1), Wicket (33/1), Willie The Warrior (33/1), American Image (66/1), Hyman Roth (66/1), Lorca's Novena (66/1)
MOHART hasn't always jumped with perfect fluency but he has travelled nicely enough in races over longer trip at times lately. He's worth another try over this trip and with Jack Kennedy booked and new headgear, could go well at decent odds in an open heat. Perle Rose also drops in distance and can go well while it's probably too soon to write off Tipp Toe. Sir Tivo ran well at a massive price last time at Tramore and could harbour place claims.
- Mohart
- Tipp Toe
- Perle Rose
