Produced his best effort since arriving in Britain when scoring decisively at Hamilton (5f good to soft) last week. Penalised for that, but there looked to be more to come. Effective over 6f and he looks a leading player again.
Dual C&D seller winner last year and has added handicaps at Wolverhampton and Thirsk (6f, good) since. Consistent at this level and needs more to win from this mark, but entitled to make the short-list now back at this venue.
C&D win last season came from 12lb higher, but then went 14 races before adding another at Ayr last month. Held in all three starts since, including from this mark last time. More needed, but makes some each-way appeal.
Second in 7f maiden here (good to firm) last season, but well below that form in all starts since. Drawn wide and can only watch.
0-11 on turf (has won four times on AW at 5f/6f). In reasonable form on AW of late and well handicapped if he could reproduce that on this surface, but that is far from guaranteed.
Sole success was at Bath (5f, firm) in a novice event last year when with Richard Hannon. Best turf run since joining this trainer came here over C&D two starts ago, from today's mark. Not as good in first-time cheekpieces latest, but not ruled out.
Scored at Tipperary (5f, soft/heavy) in May, but not at that level since, including on stable debut at Leicester last time. 2lb drop won't harm and pedigree suggests that the return to this longer trip should suit. Interesting.
5lb lower today than the first of back-to-back wins this time last year at Carlisle and Hamilton (both 6f and with cut in the ground). Now on 13-race losing run. Inconsistent, but has claims on two of this season's efforts.
Dual C&D winner (on good/good to firm), including this race last year, when 7lb higher. Out of sorts this season and returns for his first start after wind surgery. Now well treated and the market should be a good guide.
0-18 and yet to make the frame. 1lb 'wrong' and can only watch.

Guardia Svizzera (1/1), Searanger (7/2), Spirit Of Zebedee (8/1), Dyson's Girl (10/1), Jorvik Prince (12/1), Vallarta (14/1), Gorse (14/1), Campion (18/1), Dandys Denouement (22/1), Dodgy Bob (33/1), Summerseat Dream (40/1), Grandad Chunk (150/1)
Summerseat Dream remains of interest on his second start for David O'Meara, while Spirit Of Zebedee looks worth a market check after wind surgery, having won this from 7lb higher last year. However, GUARDIA SVIZZERA won with some authority last week and he is taken to follow-up under a penalty. Searanger is respected and Campion not written off.
