In good form of late and took his Windsor score to 3-3 on Saturday benefitting from the run of the race thanks to a sharp beginning. Now carries a 6lb penalty for his troubles switched to the AW for the first-time; yet to prove effective elsewhere.
Made a low-key start on her stable/handicap debut last time having left Martyn Meade racing freely under a change of tactics. Won on the AW (Tapeta) on her debut over 7f and will need to settle better returned to a synthetic surface; dropped 4lb.
Has shown glimmers of ability in handicaps but hasn't quite progressed as promised and ran below-par last-time in first-time cheekpieces. Far from ideally placed on his sole AW start and now tries blinkers for the first-time back on the AW.
Looks to be heading in the right direction having won two of his last three starts over 1m on turf although he now has to step up in grade. Only one previous outing on the AW (Tapeta) but should prove competitive off a career-high mark.
Hasn't quite built on her Leicester comeback run (first back from wind surgery) in two subsequent outings (had a hopeless tasks last time; slow away). Should be suited by this trip but has to prove herself on this surface (makes AW debut).
Bred to be better than this grade but has to overcome a below-par handicap debut at Brighton over 1m2f (could have done with a stronger gallop). Now reverts to 1m dropped 2lb and returned the AW, looks to have work to do.
Now makes his 2nd start for this yard and may well find conditions more suitable here than on his stable debut when finding conditions too soft. Overall his form is rather mixed but he may appreciate this surface off a reduced mark.
Forecasts
Optimum Time (11/4), Narodowa (7/2), He's Our Star (4/1), Global Art (5/1), Imperial Choice (7/1), Mankind (8/1), Fabianski (20/1)
Quite a few of these come into this with questions to answer even the in-form Optimum Time who carries a 6lb penalty for his Saturday Windsor win but has yet to prove himself away from the riverside track. HE’S OUR STAR is another who is in good form of late and a chance is taken with him back on the AW as he still appears on the up. Narodowa has shown that she has the ability to win races and if she handles this surface a repeat of her earlier Leicester run would give her a good chance to get off the mark.
