Solid and consistent of late hitting the frame on his last four starts including a win in a Downpatrick handicap chase in June. Two from 20 over hurdles and market possibly the best guide to chances on return over timber.
Winner of a Bellewstown 2m4f handicap hurdle last month off a 10lb lower mark on good to firm ground. Well held since over timber and the larger obstacles.
Dual Flat winner this year but has disappointed over hurdles on three occasions since May. Plenty to prove in this contest looking at exposed form.
Losing run goes back to August last year with three runner-up finishes costing the gelding in the ratings. Tough and genuine but still 13lb higher than last winning mark.
29-race maiden who has continued to disappoint connections including a 54L defeat last month in a Limerick novice hurdle over this trip. Losing run looks set to continue.
18 race maiden who is without a win in eight starts over hurdles but better form has come on a softer surface and worth a market check if anymore rain.
Distance winner of a Sligo maiden hurdle at this time 12-months ago and kept on well under pressure from the final flight before headed close home in a handicap hurdle at the same venue last month. Not one to totally leave out of calculations.
Maiden after seven starts and registered a career best effort when finishing a close fourth at Kilbeggan in April last year. Possibly needed the run on return when seventh of 13 beaten 17L at Sligo earlier this month.
Won a 2m4f Wexford handicap hurdle when not unbacked last month getting off the mark for connections at the fifth time of asking. Another bold show looks likely.
Well held in three maiden hurdle starts before disappointing connections further when finishing down the field in three handicaps. May find it tough going once again.
Ran an admirable race in defeat when going down by a short-heat to a Mullins hotpot before finishing fourth of seven beaten 12L at Limerick last month. May find this a tough assignment.
Appeared to be improving before a disappointing 24L defeat in a Cork maiden hurdle earlier this month. Not one to place any trust in.
Nothing of note and well held in three career maiden hurdle starts to date. Others look to be progressing at a quicker rate.
Modest form in four starts to date, the last three coming over timber. Looks up against it and is likely to find it tough once again.
Will have disappointed influential connections with a number of dismal displays in maiden hurdles and on handicap debut in April. Looks a tall order on form shown.
First Reserve: Well beaten and no impression in three career maiden hurdle starts to date. Tough ask and others preferred.

ROBIN ON THE HILL can defy a 6lb penalty here and land the spoils following a ¾L win over this trip at Wexford last month. The six-year-old stayed on in the closing stages of the contest to lead inside the last 50 yards. The in form mare can see off the attentions of the first-time hooded Fairymount Boy and first time handicapper Harrys Gift. Course winner Youngnedofthehill and distance winner Mister Butler deserve closer inspection.
