Seasonal debut and first start since wind surgery when finishing 4L third over 5f at Thirsk (good-to-soft) a month ago. Dropped 2lb for that effort and enters calculations in this event.
Put a couple of disappointing efforts behind him when finishing runner-up at Hamilton (5f, good-to-soft) earlier this week. Races off a 3lb lower mark and is one to note in this contest.
Fair effort in finishing 4L fourth over 6f at Catterick (good-to-firm). Won off a 3lb higher mark in the past and drop in trip in his favour.
Placed on first two starts since returning from a short break. Excuses given he stumbled when exiting the stalls last time out and a leading contender if putting that behind him.
Dual winner over this distance at Pontefract and some fair efforts in recent times. Races off a mark 15lb lower than for his latest success.
Recorded a first victory at the 12th time of asking when wearing blinkers (retained) for the first time over this trip at Nottingham (good) recently. Has to defy a 7lb rise if she's to follow up on this occasion.
Ran well to finish a neck third over C&D on good-to-firm ground last month. Not repeated that in two subsequent starts but should appreciate a return to this grade.
20 race maiden ran well to be beaten 3L into fourth over this trip at Catterick (good-to-firm) last time out. However others hold stronger claims and is racing from out of the handicap.
Winner of a C&D claimer here in 2016 but struggled in the main since including in four starts this season. Cheekpieces worn for the first time at Redcar earlier this month are retained. Racing from out of the weights.
Handicap mark is falling following some moderate efforts since joining this yard. Wears blinkers for the first time off a mark 18lb lower than for her sole victory. Racing from out of the handicap.

One Boy (9/4), Oriental Splendour (11/4), Windforpower (11/2), Poppy Jag (7/1), Mininggold (8/1), Etienne Gerard (9/1), Roaring Rory (9/1), Compton River (10/1), Newgate Sioux (25/1), Trulove (33/1), Lina's Star (50/1)
ONE BOY returned to form when second recently and he can go one better by taking this sprint handicap. The selection has won over C&D in the past and can take this at the chief expense of Poppy Jag who recorded her first career success last time out. Top weight Roaring Rory ran well when third on last months seasonal debut and he can fill the same position on this occasion.
- One Boy
- Poppy Jag
