Three-time winner over the C&D, has been running sound races in defeat at Newmarket the last twice, good chance he'll be in the firing on this favourable track.
Winner at Salisbury and Haydock in May (6f, good / good to firm) then pulled too hard at Leicester in June when bidding for hat-trick in June off this increased, career-high mark. Back from a break, could have more to give.
Losing run starting to mount up but he's becoming dangerously well-handicapped on old form as a result. Yet to win for this yard but former C&D winner did run well here behind Englishman in May.
One win from eight starts for Kevin Ryan, coming on the AW at Newcastle in March. Off since May but could be capable of better, mark down slightly, and one to pay attention to in betting.
Needs to be sharper earlier in his races, has undergone wind surgery since last run. Must produce a career-best to take this seemingly.
0-6 since joining this stable, including pair of decisive defeats over this C&D already. Hard to make strong case for the turnaround.
Denied a neck over C&D in April on heavy going off a mark of 75. Has lost his way since however and record now stands at 0-17 on turf.
Enjoying a prolific year, with five wins in 14 starts (four on the AW). Scored on turf at Bath in April (5f, good) from 3lb lower mark. Likely aiming for place money at best in higher grade.

Martyn Meade might be able to get some more from the lightly-raced VJ DAY. He managed just one win for Kevin Ryan, on the AW, but returns from a break for his new yard having dropping a couple of pounds in the ratings while this return to 6f is also deemed favourable. C&D specialist Englishman is a danger with two fine Newmarket efforts recently while the other three-year-old, Beyond Equal, could have still have further improvement returning from a short break. The booking of James Doyle won't do any harm to the hopes of Yarmouth winner Green Fortune.
