Had the appearance of an improving sort when finishing third of 14 at Cork recently and is entitled to make the shortlist here.
Son of Iffraaj and a full-brother to 7f winner Ya Latif. Well held in two bumper starts to date and easily dismissed here.
Stowaway gelding out of a Danehill Dancer mare related to talented types Hidden Cyclone, Champagne Fever and recent winner here on Thursday Act In Time. Needs to improve on dismal debut at Kilbeggan in June.
Robin Des Champs gelding, cost €29,000 as a three-year-old. Dam a half-sister to three point-to-point winners. Beaten 20L when not unbacked on debut at Punchestown in April. Worth a market check.
Son of Flemensfirth out of a Milan mare. Fifth foal closely related to Waiting Patiently and recent Stratford winner Forthefunofit. Leading player on debut.
€11,000 Robin Des Pres half-brother to six winners including Master Of The Hall, Pairofbrowneyes and Featherbed Lane. Will come on for 16½L defeat on debut at Limerick last month.
Son of Sageburg and a full-brother to rules winner Rouergate. Tailed off on debut in a Thurles bumper when last seen in March sent off the 6/4f. Enters calculations on return for leading trainer/jockey combination.
September Storm gelding out of a Medaille Millitaire cost €17,000 as a three-year-old. Nothing of note in a couple of bumper starts to date and hard to place any faith in.
Can possibly be forgiven most recent start at the Galway festival based on a couple of solid runs behind Beautiful Citi previously. Could go well but liable to be open to a couple more progressive.
Poor in a couple of point-to-point starts when last seen in May. Others look open to more improvement and easily passed over in this contest.
Son of Scorpion out of a Presenting mare. Sixth foal, dam unraced half-sister to bumper/2m6f and 3m hurdle winner Valentines Lady. Went down by ½L earlier this month behind Stacey Sue but ahead of Clever As A Fox. Open to significant improvement.

Redfield (3/1), Clever As A Fox (7/2), Perpignan (7/2), She'stherightone (9/2), Chead Solas (5/1), Steel Tornado (14/1), Kingston Girl (16/1), Rainy Night Insoho (20/1), Kerry Dawn (33/1), In With Conor (33/1), Morning Echo (33/1), Lauramy (50/1)
The four-year-old REDFIELD has been given plenty of time since his disappointing debut in March when finishing down the field on heavy in a Thurles bumper as the 6/4f and can land the closing race of the meeting here. The selection wont get it all his own way with live rivals Clever As A Fox and She'stherighttone asking the Willie Mullins-trained gelding plenty of questions at the business end of proceedings.
- Redfield
- She'stherightone
- Clever As A Fox
