Badly out of form since returning to the track in April and first time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Narrowly beaten at Listowel in June before a heavy defeat over fences at the Galway festival earlier this month and others hold stronger profiles in this tough contest.
Distance winner who has not gone on from a win in a 2m½f Fairyhouse novice handicap chase in April but could have place claims with conditions to suit.
Inexperienced chaser who although being one from two over the larger obstacles may well struggle in this company.
Pulled up when in rear before the ninth in a handicap hurdle at the Galway festival earlier this month. Won a Limerick 2m6f contest over the larger obstacles. Third of 13 in this contest 12-months ago.
Promising over hurdles at Punchestown in the spring, though rather tame in Connaught National at Roscommon in June before a heavy defeat at the Galway festival earlier this month over fences. Very little to be positive about.
Distance winner whose losing run goes back to October 2016. Returned to chasing last month with a 22L defeat in a 3m1f handicap finishing third of 14. Could struggled in this grade.
Winner of this contest 12-months ago off a 2lb higher mark. Has appeared to be regressing of late and looks out of form currently.
C&D winner of a beginners contest over five years ago. Has shown relatively little of late and has plenty to prove at present.
Comes here on a hat-trick of wins and in scintillating form following wins at Punchestown and more recently at Tipperary. Appears to be held for this target and boasts a leading chance here.
Has not won since landing a Punchestown handicap chase in November last year and losing run now stands at seven but is still 8lb higher than last winning mark. Will need to improve.
Remains without a win in four starts over the larger obstacles but his second of 11 behind Nick Lost in a 2m5f beginners chase in June appears to be interesting form.
Off the mark on chasing debut in May at Kilbeggan over this trip. Beaten since but boasts clear place claims given his recent run at the Galway festival.

Monbeg Chit Chat (4/1), Peregrine Run (6/1), Bel Ami De Sivola (13/2), Alisier D'irlande (7/1), Steel Wave (8/1), Grand Partner (8/1), Coeur Joyeux (10/1), Shanpallas (12/1), Full Cry (12/1), Killaro Boy (14/1), Supreme Vinnie (14/1), Product Of Love (16/1), The West's Awake (16/1), Kilcarry Bridge (20/1)
MONBEG CHIT CHAT got off the mark over fences at the sixth time of asking for connections but the Kayf Tara gelding has improved of late going on to win again at Tipperary last month and the seven-year-old can land the hat-trick here. The solid and consistent Ailisier D'Irlande can give his stablemate the most to think about in the contest, while lightly raced chaser Grand Partner and Supreme Vinnie can dual for the remaining place.
- Monbeg Chit Chat
- Alisier D'Irlande
- Grand Partner
