Won here in June over an extra half mile on debut for current yard and beaten less than two lengths off 7lb higher mark here last time. First-time blinkers should sharpen him up over this shorter trip.

Up 10lb following a pleasing nine-length win at Worcester last time so will need to raise his game again to follow up. Previously finished a good runner-up over C&D so has good chance if as effective on easy ground.

Winning point to pointer but disappointing last three handicap chases. Has dropped a total of 16lb but more needed if he is to get involved where it matters most.

Knocking on the door in four starts since May and held every chance at the last at Stratford last time. Makes debut for new yard and gets weight from most rivals so should be thereabouts.

Beyond The Glent141
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-9| J: D B Hurst(10)| T: C Grant| OR:  77
25/1
Yet to reach a place in 10 starts to date and unlikley to break his sequence given some woeful runs of late. Wears first-time tongue-tie but looks a forlorn hope.

Forecasts

Toosey (7/4), Fit For Fifty (2/1), Damiens Dilemma (5/2), Two Hoots (7/1), Beyond The Glen (25/1)

Verdict

A trappy little race but FIT FOR FIFTY is in form and despite a hefty rise in the weights is fancied to score again. The blinkers may sharpen up Damiens Dilemma who looks a big danger, while Two Hoots should keep them all honest and is consistent. Irish raider Toosey has crashed down the handicap after some poor runs of late and is dangerously weighted if he finds his form so it would be worth keep an eye out for a market move.
  1. Fit For Fifty
  2. Two Hoots
  3. Damiens Dilemma
