Poor form in the point-to-point field has transferred to three below standard maiden hurdle displays recently. Plenty to prove at present.
Put a couple of below-par displays behind him when winning a 2m5f handicap hurdle at Tramore on Thursday off a 7lb lower mark. Another bold show looks likely.
Vast improvement in a Gowran Park handicap hurdle over 2m on good ground in June when third of 16 beaten 1¾L before a runner-up position in a Killarney handicap hurdle over a similar trip last month. Worth noting in the betting.
Well held in a number of handicap hurdle starts this term finishing down the field on each occasion. Very little to be positive about.
C&D winner of this contest 12 months ago off a 7lb lower mark, his sole win in 15 career starts over hurdles. Out of form in four starts since May and liable to find a couple stronger.
Now a 17-race maiden and promising signs have long since evaporated. Hard to fancy here in this company.
Not much to shout about in three maiden hurdle starts since returning to the track following a 14-month lay off. Plenty to work on in this company.
Not seen since March when pulling up for the second time in four starts at Cork. Looks a tough task on return.
Beaten favourite of a 2m3f Downpatrick handicap hurdle earlier this month when finishing down the field. Remains a seven-race maiden but worth a market check.
Plenty of promise in two starts recently at Killarney and last time out at Cork. Each way claims in this grade.
Modest in a number of point-to-point starts and hard to construct much of a case for the gelding following wide margin defeats recently.
Struggled in six runs so far and beaten 50L off a 5lb higher mark on handicap debut last month before another dismal effort at Tipperary. Others preferred.
Well beaten and never nearer in a number of disappointing hurdle performances since returning to the track in April and comes here with plenty to prove in this company.
Headstrong sort who has led on couple of recent starts before fading fast in home straight on each occasion. Plenty more needed here.
Has failed to produce anything of note in five handicap hurdles to date and easily passed over here.
23-race maiden hurdler who found no extra in second when chasing the winner before dropping to third earlier this month in a Cork handicap hurdle over 2m3f. Opposable on general form.
Well beaten and never a factor in three starts over hurdles this season. Unlikely to play a part in the finish.

CANTKIDAKIDDER put a couple of below-par displays behind him when winning a 2m5f handicap hurdle at Tramore on Thursday off a 7lb lower mark. The gelding ran in the first two for most of the race before going clear approaching the last staying on well to land the spoils by over 4L. Messie, in first-time hood and Oskar High can fill the places, while Fintown Boy should not be completely discounted.
