Beaten a long way on Pontefract debut, but left that form well behind when defying odds of 100-1 to land a 1m4f novice contest at Wolverhampton. On the up, but more needed in this.
Promise on all three starts in novice/maiden company, latterly at Lingfield. Looks the sort to do better once she goes handicapping so one or two others are preferred.
A 125,000 gns yearling by Intello, this gelding is a half-brother to several winners Never got involved on debut over 1m2f at this venue and needs to take a big step forward over this longer trip.
Gelded son of Zoffany who cost 45,000 gns as a yearling and whose dam is an unraced sister to a horse placed in Listed company. Definite signs of ability when sixth of 13 on debut at Leicester and will be wiser this time.
Runner-up on last two starts, latterly when beaten at even money at Ripon. Not one to get stuck into at short odds, but has to be respected with stable continuing in good form.
Forecasts
Volcanic Sky (8/15), Deep Sea (9/2), Harawi (7/1), Charlie D (10/1), Imperial Court (20/1), Alhram (66/1)
Volcanic Sky was a warm order when beaten last time and may be worth opposing with HARAWI, who is weighted to overturn recent Wolverhampton form with Charlie D. Deep Sea is respected, but may do better when handicapping, so a bigger threat may be posed by Imperial Court, who shaped with promise on debut at Leicester.
