11-race maiden hurdler who got off the mark at the first time of asking over the larger obstacles in a 2m4f beginners contest last month. Couldn't follow-up at Tramore four days ago but still ran well and sound claims once more.
A long way (18lb) below last winning mark but was actually in the process of running a better race at Tipperary last time when unseating the rider at the last. Questionable if he can build on that now.
Blinkers have been added for both starts over fences so far but they haven't sparked him into life. Goes up in trip for handicap debut but hard to fancy unless market screams his name.
Now 9lb higher than for his last success over fences back in May. Ran a cracker when finishing second at Wexford last month though so clear chances once again.
bounced back to form the last twice when running over hurdles. Recent chase form has been poor so needs to translate that from back over o the larger obstacles.
Winner of a 2m4f Tipperary handicap chase off a 6lb lower mark last month on good ground beating 15 rivals ½L. ran a cracker in follow-up bid at Tramore last time. Return to this trip should suit and leading contender.
Still 4lbs higher than for his final win in 2017. Has looked in need of the run on both starts so far this year but should be approaching peak fitness levels now and a return to form is possible.
Winner over C&D off a 6lb lower mark back in May. Two subsequent efforts not quite so good but a return to this venue and rider taking off a handy 5lbs makes him of interest once more. Hood on first time.
Shown promise over fences and best effort came when second at Wexford (2m, good) two starts back. Possible improvement still in the locker.
Yet to win in seven starts over fences and was well held at Tramore just four days ago. Needs to improve to be involved at the business end.
Slowly getting the hang of things and his last two efforts have been much improved finishing third on both occasions. More needed fro win purposes but is going in the right direction.
Won here at this trip over hurdles two starts back in a three-runner mares contest. Recent chase form has not been good and needs plenty more here.
not won over fences in 17 attempts which tells its own story. Well held at Tramore over shorter just four days ago and needs to up his game to be involved.
Well beaten and never nearer in a mistake-laden debut over the larger obstacles at Kilbeggan in May. No better since in four starts and others preferred here.
Yet to win under rules in 23 attempts. Ran well at Tramore though last week and that is one of a couple of good efforts lately. Has each-way claims.
