As soon as he hints at a revival these days he manages to run poorly on his next start and is clearly an inconsistent sort. Would have a chance on his C&D 3rd (penultimate start) but pulled up last time and a perilous proposition.

A real puzzle for backers to start with as solid profiles are few and far between here and this is an event that won’t take much winning. At least Heurtevent won last time out but he’s never run over this sort of trip and this is a big step up in trip from his 2m victory off a 6lb higher mark. Mercers Court would have a chance on his old form having dropped to a tempting mark if he was in form and the same could be said of Mr Satco. DRUMHART is given a reluctant nod as the suggestion with the hood going on for the first-time and hopefully that will see him return to his first start for this yard. Massinis Adventure should also be noted in first-time blinkers.
