Plenty of placed form, but won just once in 18 starts and that was on his Flat debut for the late Alan Swinbank in December 2015 (1m4f, Southwell); third, beaten almost 2½L off this mark at Haydock latest (1m3½f).

July course regular, with all six of her wins coming there (1m-1m2f), makes her first venture away from Newmarket since September 2016 with possible ground excuses (soft) for her latest moderate showing.

First-time visor replaces cheekpieces and handicapped to have a say if able to reproduce his peak form for Jeremy Gask in 2017; form has dipped a fraction on his last couple of Windsor starts.

Veteran, but consistent since returned to turf in May; runner-up off this mark over 1m here in June, and a winner over 1m2f here latest, finishing strongly to reel in Right About Now (by a neck); solid chance.

Won for the first time since June 2016, when a decisive ½L scorer over C&D 12 days ago; up 4lb in a stronger race (Class 5), but more appealing than the majority on that evidence alone.

Forecasts

Lunar Deity (2/1), Busy Street (3/1), Tripartite (3/1), Castle Talbot (5/1), Trulee Scrumptious (8/1), Slow To Hand (10/1)

Verdict

A modest contest despite the Class 5 status, so recent C&D winner Castle Talbot should cope with the 4lb higher mark and be involved constructively in some shape or form. Tripartite has reasonable claims on past form, but rates as risky at present with the application of a visor probably not a positive sign, so it is the veteran LUNAR DEITY who gets the nod on the basis of his consistent overall form (including at this track) since May.
