Claimed for £5,000 after winning for David Griffiths in May (6f, Chelmsford); finished lame when runner up there last month, and whilst rated 10lb lower on turf than on the AW remains a 14-race maiden on grass.
Has taken a few runs to return to some sort of form after a 7-8 month absence, but went close in a 6f Wolverhampton claimer last week (flashed tail when headed close home); drop in trip in his favour.
Determined winner in this grade over C&D in July, and just 2lb higher with a leading rider booked; her last two starts haven't gone to plan (boiled over in the stalls latest), but conditions are ideal and a positive showing is anticipated.
Once rated in the mid 80's for Kevin Ryan, and steadily (belatedly) finding his feet for Ruth Carr; met trouble in the run when seeking to follow up his July Ayr win (5f), so rates as a leading player in this company.
48-race maiden (0-22 on turf); made the frame in two starts this month at Ffos Las and Haydock (both 5f), but you'd be surprised if she was the solution despite the obvious moderate opposition in this race.
Won just once in 26 starts (June 2017), and in poor form for the majority of the calendar year so far; finished last of eight to today's rival Terri Rules on her penultimate start over C&D in July.
11-race maiden who has started at odds of 100/1 or greater in her last six races; better effort (sixth) back from a nine month absence recently, but needs to build upon that before truly convincing.

Forecasts
Assassinate (9/4), Kibaar (5/2), Aguerooo (4/1), Terri Rules (9/2), Celerity (12/1), Arnoul Of Metz (12/1), Camino (40/1), Dark Hedges (50/1)
A low grade opener in which both the C&D winner Terri Rules and the slowly returning to form Assassinate (dropped in trip) should have positive roles to play. However, KIBAAR is extraordinarily well handicapped on his old form for Kevin Ryan, and his current trainer Ruth Carr has him back on track. Slightly unfortunate not to be coming into this race on a hat-trick, he represents a trainer who is a rare visitor to this track (0 from 16 since 2008).
- Kibaar
- Terri Rules
