Stable are struggling for winners and this young filly has a stiff task under a big weight. Underperformed last time and others preferred.
Tearaway front runner when trained in Ireland who's sole success came in a Kilbeggan maiden hurdle a year ago. Showed some signs of temperament that day and again on debut for this stable when back from an absence. Headgear fitted.
Wide margin winner at Stratford last year for David Dennis but struggled to get close to that level subsequently. Has joined a yard that are in form and can get one ready so one to note in the market after 10 months off.
18-race maiden but has gone well fresh in the past. Finds little for pressure but capable of making the frame.
Has given the impression there is a race as bad as this to be won with her. Has been campaigning fruitlessly over further and of interest off this mark.
Poor in all runs five runs for this yard. Had a spin on the Flat seven weeks ago following a lengthy break when she proved a handful.
Supported for stable debut on her return from a two year break but ran below expectations. Off another two months and stable have only had one winner since mid-May.
Her last four starts under both codes have looked like she might not be in love with her job at present. Runners from this yard always capable of bouncing back but others preferred unless market screams her name.
Has finished last in five of her seven completed starts and was tailed off in the other two. Off since November and impossible to fancy.
Forecasts
Versifier (11/4), Ayelya (3/1), Bitter Virtue (4/1), Hoponandsee (5/1), Kiruna Peak (5/1), Jazz Thyme (10/1), Kristal Hart (12/1), Skylark Lady (20/1), Nenergy's Quest (50/1)
Bitter Virtue represents a yard that are worth following when as hot as they are now and she needs to be watched closely for a market move. The proven fitness of VERSIFIER gets her the vote as she is dropping in trip and her handicap mark is beginning to look more attractive having been raised following a career best at Huntingdon in March. Jazz Thyme is a strong travelling type who goes well fresh but she is inclined to give little in a finish. Nevertheless she looks good enough to make the frame.
- Versifier
- Bitter Virtue
- Jazz Thyme
