Son of Battle Of Marengo bought for €22,000 at the sales last September. Missed the break and ran green on debut at Ayr (good to firm) over this trip 10 days ago. Should know more this time and improvement possible.
Son of Orientor who is the first foal from a dam that won over 5f. Lots of speed in the pedigree and market will be a good guide on racecourse debut.
Unraced Morpheus colt sold for €20,000 as a foal. Dam an unraced half-sister to Group 1-placed Fa-Eq and interesting to see how he fares on debut.
Ran a nice race on debut at Newbury last time out when shaping like a little further than this will probably suit. Should improve on that first effort.
Colt by Kyllachy. First foal from a dam that is an unraced half-sister to Gathering Power who was a useful 6f winner. Interesting on debut and market useful.
Lethal Force colt, cost 58,000 gns as a yearling. Ran green on debut before a disappointing effort when upped to 7f at Goodwood last time. Drops back in trip here but needs to bounce back for yard that won this race last year.
Very disappointing on debut considering he was sent off odds-on. Ran best race so far when a close up third at Haydock last time. Penny maybe dropping now and is respected.
Didn't seem to stay the 7f when upped to that trip at Haydock last time. Back in trip here and should be capable of being in the mix if bouncing back to previous form.
Ran with promise amidst some greenness on debut at Ripon where she was sent off at 8/1. Could come on for that now and no surprise to see her involved in the finish.
Forecasts
Happy Power (13/8), Smile A Mile (3/1), Whimsical Dream (13/2), Lightning Attack (7/1), Triple Distilled (8/1), Kyllachy Warrior (16/1), Euro Implosion (25/1), Frank's Law (33/1), Gates Of Horn (100/1)
Smile A Mile has slowly come to hand and is improving all the time. He is a major player once more. Happy Power shaped like there could be more to come on debut and is respected. EURO IMPLOSION missed the break and ran pretty green on debut, a chance is taken that he can improve enough to win second time around.
- Euro Implosion
- Happy Power
- Smile A Mile
