Unlike many in this ownership, he was a relatively inexpensive purchase (15,000 gns yearling), but despite running green, he made a winning debut over 6f here in June; overall form isn't the strongest and has a penalty to shoulder over a new trip.
Half-brother to a couple of winners (6f-7f), and despite starting at 22/1, he ran a better race than the market anticipated at Catterick recently (7f); more to find, but couldn't be totally dismissed.
26,000 gns yearling who showed bits and pieces of promise in novice events (6f-7f), but could only finish a weakening eighth of 11 on nursery debut over C&D last month; worth another chance and dropped 2lb since.
24,000 gns juvenile, and a half-brother to the French 1m AW winner Villequier; 25/1 on debut at Sandown (7f, good to firm) in July when finishing a slowly away last of eight to King Of Comedy.
£24,000 juvenile; upped his game considerably on second start at Lingfield (7f, good to firm) last month when beaten in excess of 3L (finished third); open to further (but admittedly needed) progression.
26,000 gns juvenile; unraced seventh foal and a half-brother to three winners including Cavaleiro (1m) and Westpieser (1m2f); potentially better suited by a longer trip with this initial experience banked.
Slowly away on debut (16/1) over 7f at Yarmouth in July, finishing a mere 11th of 12 to Taylormade; that race has produced winners since, so connections of this Universal colt must be hopeful of an improved effort in a fairly modest race.
16,000 gns yearling who wasn't beaten all that far (just over 1L) when finishing a close up fifth to three-time winner Buckingham at Chelmsford (6f) ten days ago; minimal improvement required in order to make her mark (dam was a 1m2f winner).
6,000 gns yearling; unraced seventh foal by Dawn Approach out of the 1m1½f winner Samdaniya; half-sister to various winners including Dabyah (7f) and Sam Gold (1m); realistic starting point but market likely helpful in terms of assessing her chance.
Forecasts
Over The Guns (6/5), Stellar Comet (4/1), Silkstone (5/1), Coutts De Ville (9/1), Beauty Concept (14/1), Weld Aldar (20/1), Hummdinger (20/1), Allatoona (25/1), Trouble Shooter (100/1)
A modest race which presents an ideal winning opportunity for one set of connections. Previous course winner Over The Guns will be popular, but he was clearly a surprise winner (40/1) that June afternoon and has a penalty to carry over a longer trip following a 77-day absence. Weld Aldar should prove capable of bettering his Yarmouth debut (form respectable) with more time, but a safer option at present is STELLAR COMET who lost little in defeat to the likeable Buckingham at Chelmsford (6f) recently.

- Over The Guns
