Shaping well at Killarney on penultimate outing when fell and since run poor race at Limerick over a longer trip. Winless since 2015.
Former bumper has run some more than decent races over timber and perhaps a shade unlucky to be 0-19 in this sphere. Needs a bit more though.
Decisive winner at Clonmel earlier in the summer but handicapper has made life tougher since. Poor at Cork last time, sports a first-time hood here.
Modest winner on the Flat, has shown promise in this sphere already. Travelled well at Sligo but didn't have a turn of foot. Could be capable of taking out a prize like this.
Just one from 22 so far over timber but has repeatedly shaped well of late over this trip and perhaps found longer journey too much at Cork last time. One to pay attention to.
Useful Flat winner has shown some promise in novice hurdles and wouldn't be a great surprise to find her improving now going handicapping in this sphere.
Hasn't shown much so far in four starts over hurdles, but goes handicapping for the first time now and worth a market check for this yard.
Maiden, ran well enough here in June in a maiden hurdle, not exactly built on that in three starts since but time still on her side and should have more to give in time.
Efforts so far over timber are decidedly underwhelming, goes handicapping for the first time here and one to watch currently until signs of progress.
Winner over timber at Gowran Park in June, behind Jessamine subsequently at Cork but running steady enough races and place money perhaps not out of reach.
Reportedly suffered breathing problem when pulled up in handicap hurdle at Clonmel won by Slainte And Thanks in June, pulled up there and hard to recommend back from a break.
Forecasts
Lockeen Girl (5/1), Wild Desire (5/1), Jessamine (11/2), Comehere Hi (7/1), Slainte And Thanks (7/1), Zinat (7/1), Realta Dawn (8/1), Rathnaleen Girl (10/1), Presenting Lilly (16/1), Glamorous Nellie (25/1), Tricky Question (50/1)
RATHNALEEN GIRL moved ominously well at Cork for a stage last time out, before ultimately fading late in the piece. The drop in trip should be to her favour and she is capable of winning an event like this from current mark. Jessamine could also threaten having also failed to deliver late on at Sligo last time while Zinat is a potential improver now sent handicapping. Slainte And Thanks has won here this season and sports new headgear aiming to get back on track.
- Rathnaleen Girl
- Jessamine
- Zinat
