Winner of a beginners' chase at Kilbeggan in 2016, useful since without winning again, prone to jumping errors and well held this month at Kilbeggan over 2m4f.
Heavy ground beginners' chase winner here over 2m5f in December, little to enthuse about since however, falling twice in four starts this year, latest over hurdles here in June.
Useful sort, warmed up for this with good second over timber at Cork and likely to make a bold bid back over fences with champion jockey on board.
No win since 2015 but shaping well in two starts since joining this handler, including over fences at the Galway Festival recently. Can be in the mix in this lesser event.
Winner of a weak looking eight-runner Wexford beginners chase at the tenth time of asking over the larger obstacles in May, run well enough in both starts since, will likely need some pace on over this trip.
Won around here over 2m in June, went close since at Wexford but looked held over 2m4f at Tipperary last month when falling late on. Should have the stamina for this however if none the worse.
Plenty to like about the mares' starts over the larger obstacles recently including last-time-out success over 2m1f (good) at Tipperary in July, ran poor over hurdles last week at Kilbeggan but should bounce back in this sphere.

Master Appeal (5/2), Ask Susan (10/3), Flaxen Flare (10/3), Jarob (6/1), Jaime Sommers (15/2), Gusty Rocky (8/1), All Hell Let Loose (10/1), Ardera Cross (33/1)
Gordon Elliott and Davy Russell won this race with Potters Point a year ago and they appear to have strong claims once more with FLAXEN FLARE. He chased home an easy Perth winner last month over fences and has since taken second over hurdles at Cork. A replication of those efforts may be good enough. Jarob shaped nicely at Galway and is well placed to make a bid here in calmer waters while Gusty Rocky would have a chance on last month's Killarney run. Jaime Sommers was poor over timber a week ago, but may bounce back.
