Trip fine and won't mind a drop of rain, having taken a similar handicap at Yarmouth in May on soft ground. Missing regular pilot for these events (rider makes her debut today) but chances on form.

Not seen much in recent times, this will be his fourth start in 17 months, but shaped as if he retains some ability at Yarmouth last time. Cheekpieces given a go now, which may help, but probably doesn't want much more rain.

Only having sixth start today, form so far is moderate and he's taking a big step up in trip (mixed messages whether that will suit on breeding). Good pilot on board will be a help, but a bit to prove.

Looks to have plenty going for him, having taken a handicap over C&D earlier in the week and gets in here on same mark as that was an apprentices race. This looks no harder, so if over those exertions, has to be considered.

More rain the better, having won over this trip at Salisbury on heavy ground earlier in the year, but form since then is patchy. Track should suit (often takes time to wind up) but a bit to prove at present.

No win and just the one place to show from nine starts so far, well beaten when sent off an 80-1 chance at Leicester last time and needs a heap of improvement from somewhere.

Beaten miles last two starts, seemingly with little excuse, and despite rock-bottom mark these days makes next to no appeal here.

No win in 15 starts for Mark Tompkins but has shown flashes of ability, and key point is new trainer does very well with other's cast-offs (and has won with them first time up). Decent pilot booked and may go okay at a price.

Only had the five starts and has been a bit keen in her races, so good to see the application of a hood today. Not disgraced at Leicester two starts ago, rider yet to have a winner under Rules but half a chance if settling better.

Forecasts

Orobas (11/10), Born To Spend (6/1), Gee Sixty Six (6/1), Born To Please (13/2), Glacier Fox (8/1), Oceanus (12/1), Voice of A Leader (22/1), Legendoire (100/1), Sword of The Lord (100/1)

Verdict

A weak finale. Orobas looks the obvious one after his win here in the week but this is a quick reappearance and there's no guarantee he will reproduce that run. A chance is taken on GEE SIXTY SIX, having his first run for an up-and-coming young trainer who does well with others cast-offs and is on a rock-bottom mark here. Born To Please and Oceanus can fight out the minor money.
