In good form since switching to handicaps and landed back-to-back wins at Newcastle in June/July at up to this trip. Needs to show she can translate latest improvement to turf, but remains one to bear in mind.
Won in the mud at Ffos Las in September, and showed she didn't need such conditions when winning over this trip at Chester in June. Now 4lb higher, but yard enjoying a purple patch, and respected.
Not won since debut at Newbury last July, and while she appeared back to that form when fifth of 9 to Caravela in handicap at Goodwood last time, it's possible she's flattered by how that race panned out.
Helped by having an unopposed lead when runner-up on penultimate start at Beverley, and well below that form at same track last time, although seemingly failed to stay 2m there. Work to do on balance.
Dam won G2 Princess of Wales's Stakes for same connections, and this filly improved to score at Doncaster in June. Better still in defeat at Chester last time, and she's the type to find significant further improvement.
Has continued to progress since leaving Tim Easterby and won in good style at Epsom last month. Found plenty for pressure when following up at Newmarket, and hasn't finished improving on that evidence.
Forecasts
Hyanna (9/4), Crystal Moonlight (11/4), Lorelina (10/3), Frown (5/1), Musical Art (9/1), High On Light (16/1)
CRYSTAL MOONLIGHT comes from a family which has progressed well with experience (Dam a Group 2 winning close relative of Crystal Ocean), and she should have plenty more to offer after just three lifetime starts. She is preferred to Hyanna, who is also progressive and boasts a likeable attitude to boot. Lorelina has solid place claims for her in-form yard.
