Appears to be a better horse on the AW with her sole win coming on a synthetic surface. Well below form on turf over 6f since that win and hopes pinned on a return to 7f dropped slightly in grade.
Gelded prior to his nursery debut he showed that he had ability earlier in the year in novice events at this venue. Looks open to some progress although his mark isn't one that screams out that he's well handicapped.
On the evidence of his form so far he's going to need further than this 7f to be seen to best advantage. Below-par the last twice over this trip with the track not suiting on the first occasion and the ground being too soft last time.
Given an increased trip to work with he showed much better form last time when 5th over C&D after a break. Now goes handicapping for the first time having shown that he has some potential off a workable mark.
Yet to beat a rival home and although allowances can be made that he's inexperienced he does look limited and makes little appeal even though he now goes handicapping.

Five Helmets (6/4), Pesci (7/4), One To Go (9/4), Smart Illusion (11/2), Spirit Kingdom (6/1), Abie's Hollow (7/1), Ventura Bay (10/1), Carlow Boy (33/1)
Mark Johnston has a good record in this race winning three of the last six runnings but he may be pushed to take this again with Spirit Kingdom looking a better AW performer although the 7f trip will suit better. One To Go is the obvious contender here after his solid 2nd on his nursery debut but he has to cope with a drop in trip having looked as though he needs further although the handicapper has left him on the same mark. Smart Illusion looks one of the possible improvers in this but a chance is taken with similar type in ABIE’S HOLLOW who was beaten 7L last time over C&D but showed some promise for handicaps.
