Wetherby bumper winner for Kenneth Slack, but this is her first outing in Flat-race company. Makes her first appearance for a new stable and is not hard to oppose on balance.
Belated debut when winning a four-runner contest at Lingfield last month. The form of that contest is nothing special, but she is open to improvement and her top stable remains in fine form.
Teofilo filly who cost €95,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to three winners, inlcuding the very useful Universal. Would not need to be a star to win this on debut and very much worth checking in the betting.
Forecasts
Alexana (4/5), Inpromptu (3/1), Just Wait (6/1), French Heroine (9/1), Kuragina (33/1), Gifts At Dawn (200/1)
Just Wait is a well-bred debutant who may well be good enough to win this. The market should be the best guide to her chance, but ALEXANA has won her only race so far and is likely to be hard to beat again. Inpromptu may chase her home, while French Heroine has shown enough to suggest she is no forlorn hope.
