Kept busy, with this being his 25th start of the calendar year, and beaten just over 1L when finishing third at Musselburgh on Friday (1m, good); sits on a winning mark and seemingly stays this trip.
Her sole success came in a Lingfield seller (1m2f, good to firm) last month, but she's not seen masses of racing for her age and there's the possibility of more to come; runner-up on good to soft ground in May.
Remains a maiden on turf (0 from 13), but has produced some solid efforts on Tapeta at Newcastle, including when nabbed close home (third) after looking the likeliest winner (inside the final furlong) over this trip there last week.
A winner off this mark at Ffos Las (1m2f good to soft) in July 2017, and ran his best race since on his penultimate start at Newbury (1m3f) in June; possibilities, but others arguably slightly more reliable.
Probably should've won over C&D in June (firm) before facing a tough task against a progressive rival next time. Disappointing latest, but should be competitive off this mark, and with both of his previous wins coming with cut in the ground.
19-race maiden (12 starts on the Flat), and last seen in competitive action over hurdles at Bangor 11-days ago; difficult to enthuse over.
Won just once in 33 starts (1m, good to soft, in 2015), but has some respectable recent C&D efforts to his name and is fairly closely matched with Traveltalk (on June form); worthy of respect despite poor win record.
12-race maiden with an unappealing career profile; plunging in the weights and impossible to recommend on all known form, despite being relatively unexposed over this trip.
Picked up cheaply (for 2,500 gns) in July, and was a tailed off last of 13 on stable debut (100/1) over 7f at Leicester; fine with cut, but rates as a highly unlikely winner.
Forecasts
Orobas (3/1), Traveltalk (7/2), Optima Petamus (5/1), Ravenhoe (11/2), Full Suit (7/1), Frantical (9/1), D'waterside (16/1), Birikyno (40/1), Luduamf (150/1)
Orobas has to prove himself under these conditions, but is in decent fettle and ran a sound race in defeat on Tapeta at Newcastle last week, whilst Ravenhoe is upped in trip after a close-up placed effort at Musselburgh (1m) on Friday. Both Optima Petimus and TRAVELTALK have respectable C&D form in the book, and the suspicion was that the selection really ought to have won when beaten narrowly by Kilbaha Lady here in June (firm). With both of his previous career wins coming with some cut in the ground, he's taken to bounce back from a couple of lesser efforts since.
- Traveltalk
- Orobas
- Ravenhoe
