More bad runs than good ones in recent times, and on a long losing run. Back to form at Epsom in June, but followed that with a shocker at Newcastle, and can't be supported with confidence.
Victoria Cup winner at Ascot in May, and showed smart turn of foot to win over 1m here last month. As good as ever when third in 7f International Stakes at Ascot since, and leading claims once again.
Goes well here, winning on Rowley Course in May. Far from disgraced in Bunbury Cup over C&D last time, but arguably in the handicapper's grip on that evidence.
Flattered by margin of victory in listed race at Epsom in June when finding the best ground, and again had the run of things in front when close third in a 7f handicap at Newbury last time. Opposable on balance.
Won a Lingfield classified contest last time, having beaten Ripp Orf at Kempton in February, and finished third to that rival in the Victoria Cup at Ascot. Not one to dismiss out of hand.
Won at Kempton in April in this headgear combination, and not disgraced in 7f turf handicaps since, although he did show a tendency to hang when last seen. Gelded since, and possible that will straighten him out.

RIPP ORF has been a model of consistency in top-end handicaps this year, and fully deserves to get his head in front again after a fine third in the International Stakes at Ascot. Spanish City wasn't far behind the selection at Ascot, and should make his presence felt given he's also proven reliable all year. Fennaan has a bit more to prove, but he's been gelded since his last start, which might help in ironing out the kinks, and he's unexposed in handicaps.
