With the exception of the unraced gelding La Bass, this race is really about the three fillies. RESPECTABLE is narrowly preferred to Spirit Of Appin and Balaawy, but there may not be too much between the trio, all of whom have shown plenty of promise on their limited racecourse appearances to date. Respectable's form in finishing fourth to the talented Soliloquy on debut last term is good, although the same can be said of Spirit Of Appin's second to Highgarden at Newbury last autumn.
