C&D winner in June 2016 beginners' contest, reappeared with decent second at Tramore in April and potentially not suited by 3m2f next time at Killarney. Down in trip.

Record over fences is 6-37, so well capable of popping up. Most recent win at Listowel in September over this trip, though very little to be encouraged by in five starts from February to June this year.

Has fallen in three of last seven chase outings, sported first-time cheekpieces at Galway recently over timber (discarded now) and not an obvious winner in waiting back over these obstacles.

Enjoying a good season, ran well over C&D in June and has since landed back-to-back victories at Killarney (2m4½f, good) and Tipperary (2m7f, good) in pleasing style. Pushed up in the ratings again but remains of interest.

Former course winner, scored over fences at Downpatrick in June but latest effort at Tipperary over this trip was a sound defeat and needs plenty more here.

Had been shaping nicely enough over timber since joining Gordon Elliot, though was well fended over back over fences at Galway and, despite Geraghty's presence, has something to prove for now.

Decent hurdler and finished fine third of 11 in novice chase at Limerick over this sort of trip four weeks ago. First start in a handicap chase and likely to be challenging.

Close third in C&D beginners' chase in May, off the mark over fences last time out at Wexford (3m1f, good to firm) early last month and handicapper hasn't missed him reverting to this sphere as such.

Made a promising seasonal reappearance when finishing fourth at Perth (2m4f, good) last month though since failed to build on that run at Uttoxeter.

0-7 so far over fences, with a couple of falls in there, though did finish close second at Down Royal in November over 3m on soft going. In fair form over hurdles recently and switches code with lower mark in favour.

Has now gone 15 runs since last win in 2016, though did finish 6½L second of 10 behind William Du Berlais in handicap chase at Killarney last time out. Interesting should he back that run up.

Forecasts

Lasoscar (7/2), William Du Berlais (4/1), Mindsmadeup (11/2), Templemore Dream (7/1), Teacher's Pet (9/1), Adimelo (10/1), All Hell Let Loose (10/1), Kylecrue (12/1), Top Of The Town (14/1), Cocktails At Dawn (20/1), I'm An Izz Wizz (25/1), Cecil Corbett (25/1)

Verdict

William Du Berlais is in cracking form and should mount another bold bid in his attempt to complete the hat-trick but the assessor is surely close to gaining control of their argument and he looks short enough in the betting as a result. Mindsmadeup was second to him at Killarney and will hold claims if in the same mood now while All Hell Let Loose ought to be suited coming back down in trip here. TEMPLEMORE DREAM enters a handicap chase for the first time and needs respecting on the back of a good showing at Limerick last time. The five-year-old should have more to give and earns a slender vote.
  1. Templemore Dream
  2. William Du Berlais
  3. All Hell Let Loose
