Yet to win this season (hard to fault her consistency) with races not quite falling her way especially at Chester on her penultimate start. Well backed at Doncaster last time over 7f for the first time this year she ran below-par; now down in class.

Looks quite well weighted on last year's form although much of that came on ground that was testing (winner on heavy, 1m). Both runs earlier in the year came in testing conditions (tried over 1m2f) when the yard was in poor form; back from a break.

C&D winner on her only previous visit both her wins have come under claiming riders. Has been known to be hard to settle and that cost her a race when beaten a head by Forever A Lady, had the run of the race at Yarmouth last time when runner-up.

Took advantage of a career-low mark when beating Arabian Jazz at Thirsk over this trip and only raised 3lb for that win still looks fairly treated. Not the most frequent winner though and 0-12 here having run with credit at Chester; place chance.

Took a while to click for this yard; did so in fine style by 7L at Catterick (6f) although plenty went the right way for her in a weak race. Predictably risen in the handicap since then but still running well; just touched off here over 5f last time.

First-time blinkers and less testing conditions proved to be the catalysts for her first win at Yarmouth over 6f and made it 2-2 in the headgear at Leicester. Has stayed in form in two runs since and no starts life for a new and in-form yard.

Forecasts

Arabian Jazz (9/4), Crotchet (11/4), Edge Of The World (9/2), Forever A Lady (11/2), Super Florence (8/1), Che Bella (12/1)

Verdict

Trainers Keith Dalgleish and Iain Jardine have won all three runnings of this race between them and those two have representatives again although Che Bella/Forever A Lady (Dalgleish) and Super Florence can all have question marks put against them in terms of form and trip. Crotchet ought to be able to take advantage of a drop in class but she has yet to totally convince this season. Arabian Jazz could well get the run of this and is dangerous if she settles with Jamie Spencer taking over from her usual claiming rider. EDGE OF THE WORLD has joined a stable in cracking form though and connections will be looking to get back some of the 70,000 guineas they paid for her recently.
