26,000gns yearling by Lawman out of a mare who won over 7f and was Listed placed. Leading trainer has his share of two-year-old winners so the market may prove the best guide to expectations.
Most taking debut up at Ayr on debut last month. Ran green and trailed the field before the penny dropped and he stayed on well into third only beaten 1L. This looks a stronger race but enough promise there to give him a chance.
Son of Poet's Voice has several big race entries later in the year and shaped with potential on debut at York despite racing freely. Should be more to come here and not surprising if he's in the shake-up.
Second to Motafaawit at Leicester but couldn't build on that effort when well beaten in a maiden at Newmarket's July Course. 6lb pull with Motafaawit gives hope of a reversal today.
Third in novice races over C&D and latest over 7½ at Ffos Las staying on well on both occasions. Met plenty of trouble in running latest so may have got much closer with a clear run and rates a leading contender today.
Well beaten in two races to date at Carlisle and Pontefract. Given time since and upped in trip today but looks stable second string and more likely the sort for handicaps.
28,000gns yearling by Dark Angel makes her debut here. Dam won form 7f-1m2f including at two but trainer's two-year-olds usually need the run so best watched at present.

Zoffee (5/4), Motafaawit (13/8), Bullion Boss (11/4), Commanding Officer (4/1), Nayef Road (8/1), Archies Lad (16/1), Edgewood (20/1), Illusions (33/1), Orrell Angel (33/1)
MOTAFAAWIT has made a nice impression in two starts to date and chased home a potential Group horse of John Gosden's at Newbury and he gave the winner a real fright too. This looks a nice opportunity for him to add a second success. Mark Johnston's Nayef Road was only beaten 1¼L by the selection on their respective debuts so he must be respected now in receipt of 6lb but unlike the selection he didn't show improvement in his second start. Zoffee could prove a big threat and he was notably unlucky in running when third at Ffos Las, the best of him is surely still to come.
