17:00 Brighton Thu 9 August 2018
First-time blinkers applied on this gelding who hasn't won since his racecourse bow back in June 2014. Has shown plenty of ability over the years though and if headgear suits he could be dangerously well handicapped on the pick of his form.
Grand sort who has won 14 races to date including 2-4 here at Brighton. Showed plenty of dash when fourth at Chester last month and has to be a major player.
Changed hands for 30,000 guineas last month having been trainer by Owen Burrows and placed twice from just trhee starts. Interesting race for handicap bow for new connections and this free going sort may set out to try and make all.
Generally disappointing this year but has come down the handicapped and now is potentially off a favourable mark so a decent display is not out of the question.
Scored here over 6f last year and possibly given too much to do here when fourth in June. 10 wins to date, but none beyond 6f so this longer trip has to be something of a concern.
Veteran who bids for a 15th career victory. No luck so far this term and won twice last year in the Channel Islands. Dropped 6lb since last outing so gets plenty of weight but jockey still yet to ride a winner.
