Teofilo colt that made a very pleasing start to win comfortably at Ballinrobe (1m2f, yielding) last month - the runner-up has gone close since, so the form is taking shape. Represents a powerful yard and connections, so merits plenty of respect.
Easy winner of a Gowran Park handicap on his penultimate start but came up short when asked to go out again three days later. Probably still has plenty more to offer, though, and interesting the tongue-tie joins the cheekpieces in the applications.
Last of nine on debut at Hamilton in May and has a big amount of improvement to find judging by that performance. Steps up in trip today but is probably still best watched.
Last Year's Winner
Mutaabeq (1/3), Meagher's Flag (5/2), Tremendous Leap (10/3), Land Of Grace (66/1)
- Meagher's Flag
- Tremendous Leap
