Lost the race in the stewards room after 'winning' in April and got his head back in front at Newbury in June. Heavily supported when dropping back to 7f last time but he was undone by being held up in a slowly run race. Should do better here.

Has failed to build on an encouraging Goodwood debut as a juvenile (6f, good-to-soft). Takes a further drop in the weights and cheekpieces now added. Stable have had a couple of inners lately and worth charting for a market move now in a class 6.

Well-bred filly who showed some ability for David Simcock during the winter. Has finished a well-beaten third on her last two starts and hard to enthuse over her prospects.

Finished third in a Chester contest in May at odds of 125/1 which saw him get a stiff hike in the weights. Mark is dropping having failed to match that performance since and probably has further to fall.

Soon given reminders last time when never in contention. Hard to fancy on that evidence and his best run came on soft ground.

Three average runs in novice company last year give her an opening mark of 46. Whilst she needs to improve dramatically the yard are good with this type and in-form claimer booked.

Looks limited on the evidence of his four runs so far and steps back significantly in trip having been upped to 1m4f for his handicap debut.

Tailed off in all three starts when sent off at huge odds. Down in grade but very hard to make a case for.

Forecasts

He's Our Star (11/8), Silverturnstogold (13/8), Rockesbury (9/4), Is It Off (7/2), Silvington (9/1), Imperial Act (16/1), Bond Angel (20/1), More Harry (20/1), Rhosmaen Street (66/1)

Verdict

He's Our Star has been in good form in better company than this and the return to a mile should yield another big run. However, the concession of 14lb to SILVERTURNSTOGOLD could prove too much, particularly as Tony Carroll's charge is officially 3lb "well-in" following a career best at Sandown on his stable debut. Is It Off may do best of the rest.
