Nothing of note in a couple of maiden hurdle starts for previous yard before a 34L defeat in a Wexford contest on stable debut last month. Plenty to find in this.
Eight-race maiden hurdler and needs a chunk of improvement based on three dismal starts since May.
Well held in two bumper starts for trainer-Olly Murphy and has failed to finish in a couple of career maiden hurdles for new connections. First time hood inconceivable to produce the required amount of development needed to play a role here.
Well held in two starts over hurdles this spring most recently when beaten 32L at Listowel over 2m on good ground in June. Looks opposable.
Half-brother to three winners, including useful hurdler Dromlease Express. Well beaten and no impression on maiden hurdle debut here last month. Market likely to be the best guide here.
Solid, consistent and gutsy gelding who deserves a change of luck. Likable type and should be in the mix with conditions to suit.
Not much to shout about in a number of dismal starts for previous connections and is a watching brief on stable debut here.
More recently seen on the Flat in May and plenty to like about initial maiden hurdle form earlier in the year. Run back from a break not the best but one for the notebook.
Well beaten and never nearer in three career starts, all at Wexford including a couple of disappointing maiden hurdle spins last month. Opposable.
Will have disappointed connections with a couple of heavy defeats at Tramore and Gowran Park in June. Hard to fancy but improvement possible.
Little encouragement in three maiden hurdle starts since May following an 14-month absence away from the track before a second of 10 beaten 7½L adrift of Easy Game. Each way claims in this grade.
Has produced a number of laboured runs in his short career including a couple of crushing maiden hurdle defeats in June. Unlikely to play a part in the finish here.
Well held in three career bumper starts since June and First time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role on hurdling debut.
Six-race maiden under rules when in the care of Andrew McNamara and best watched on first start since for 12-months for new connections.
Has shown glimpses of promise in two starts since June at Gowran park and here in a 2m maiden hurdle when second of 18 beaten 6L last month. Would not have to improve much to land a blow here.
Has run to a consistent level without actually improving in five maiden hurdles, with possibly needing the run on return here in May. May find one or two progressing at a quicker rate.
Impressive winner on the Flat on her last start in May but remains a six-race maiden hurdler. Could go well if jumping fluently.
Forecasts
Uncle Henry (5/4), Percy Veer (7/2), Paris Texas (5/1), Sticky Situation (7/1), Rolanna (8/1), Glebe Girl (12/1), Cloudybackwest (20/1), Mere Peak (25/1), Whiskeys Brother (25/1), Dunkereen (33/1), Brex Drago (33/1), Fethard Flyer (33/1), Star Of Oscar (50/1), Paulie C (50/1), Turnpike Thunder (50/1), Silk King (50/1), Rock On Aussie (66/1)
The Patrick Neville-trained STICKY SITUATION is taken to build on his second behind the Willie Mullins hotpot Easy Game at Killarney last month. The winner has since gone on to win an 11-runner novice hurdle at the Galway festival this week. Second last time out, Uncle Henry, Percy Veer and potentially exciting Paris Texas can hit the frame.
