Raced in higher grade this term but hasn't really shown his old form. Has plenty of weight but this is an easier challenge so a fair display is not ruled out.
Veteran who has won over C&D in the past but is woefully out of form. Has crashed down the handicap so is very well in on pick of old form but has given little encouragement so far this season.
Claimed out of Roger Fell's yard for £5000 after winning at Catterick 7f 12 days ago. First run for new connections but surprise to see him dropping back to 5f, although this is a very stiff track.
Won at Beverley and Pontefract last term and won over C&D as a juvenile, all suggesting a stiff 5f is ideal. Has run well last two starts and is fairly handicapped so shoud be in the thick of the action.
Drop in weights very nearly did the trick last time when beaten just a nose at Ayr over 6f. Similar effort would give him a solid chance and has to be on the short list.
Ideally suited by minimum tirp and quick ground so has conditions in her favour. Won under today's jockey at Leicester in June off 3lb lower mark and should again go well in this company.
Showed good attitude to score at Ayr penultime start off 2lb lower mark over this trip on similar ground, but never got into it last time back at same track. No forlorn hope if in the mood.
One this race 12 months ago but 8lb higher now. Scored again at Hamilton last month and fair fourth at same track last time. Clearly enjoys this venue and goes well for lady rider so should make bold bid to retain his crown.
Loves to hear her hooves rattle and failed by just a head to score over C&D last month. 1lb higher but has good rider to help her cause and won't be far away.
Running fairly consistently all campaign and has been given some leeway by the handicapper. Beaten just over length last time at Beverley off 1lb higher mark.
Been in the doldrums for some time but showed signs of a revival at Beverley when fourth over minimum trip last time out. On balance though is hard to recommend.
Modest spirnter who tends to be ridden regularly by lady riders and has bits and pieces of form this season from which a case can be made. Needs more though and may struggle once again.
Seven-year-old maiden who seems unlikely to break his duck having shown little to wrote home about on most starts this season.
On wins came at Hamilton some years back and has done little this term to suggest he will be among the principals here even allowing for him getting plenty of weight.

Last year's winner Our Place In Louie shouldn't be far away this time either, but a narrow vote goes to LAUGHTON who ran very well last time when edged out over six furlongs at Ayr and this stiff five furlongs looks tailormade for him. Teepee Time and Mininggold have both been in fair form in recent months and can be expected to be in the mix once again, while Groundworker is another in an open race who may well put up a bold show.
