Branscombe has an awkward head carriage which has not been helping him lately, but his last winning rider is on board and he is down in trip so there is a chance he will revert to forcing tactics. There are enough questionable characters in this to suggest that would be a wise move, particularly Mutanaqel and Nakhaytak who both looked awkward last time. The saddle slipped on Indigo Princess last time and she has been dropped 3lb for that so she could go well at a decent price. FOUR FIFTY THREE looks the most logical pick having improved for the switch back to this trip here a month ago and just doing enough to score without impressing the handicapper too much
