Shown promise in all fours starts so far although she remains a maiden. Didn't last out 1m4f in first try at Leicester back in May but too keen there. Eased 2lb now and bigger field could help. Obvious chance if she settles.

Went close to winning AW maidens on a few occasions before switching to turf handicaps this summer. Faded latest when third at Windsor under a very aggressive ride from the front but showed enough there to give her a shout.

Shown nothing like the ability of her outstanding dam to date although she is relatively lightly raced. 9½L fifth of nine here latest over 1m2f was disappointing handicap debut but not one to write off just yet given pedigree and connections.

Gradually upped in trip and has improved each time. Latest start saw her only beaten 1L when third at Leicester (Sailing Home fourth). Cramped for room late on there so 1lb rise not unreasonable. Has to be considered.

Lone turf win came in Chile back in 2015 over 6f. Won two starts back over 1m6f at Chelmsford on the AW. Handicap mark looks steep enough for return to turf here.

Unplaced in five starts to date but shown some promise in 1m2f handicaps at Nottingham and Goodwood last twice. Step up in trip looks likely to suit but with no relent from the handicapper others appeal more.

Built on two promising efforts when off the mark latest on the AW at Chelmsford over 1m4f. 2lb rise not enough to write her off here given her turf form is every bit as strong so one for the shortlist in a wide-open contest.

Showed next to nothing in three novice events and tailed off on handicap debut last month after a break. Cheek-pieces added here but hard to find any enthusiasm for her.

Fourth of seven on seasonal debut at Leicester last month which was her best effort to date. Ought to strip fitter here but draw not helpful and this looks a stronger race.

Beaten 17L, 23L and 26L in three starts to date. Switches to handicapping now but from out of the handicap things look unlikely to get any easier.

Verdict

This could set up for the top-weight SAILING HOME who raced too keenly latest in a small field at Leicester but after a short break she will hopefully relax better today and if doing so looks off a very workable handicap mark. Pilgrim Soul is another who is keen and connections switched to very bold tactics latest which eventually took their toll. If ridden slightly more cautiously today she could well play a part. Floria Tosca was disappointing here last time out particularly given support in the market but given her connections and blue-blood pedigree she is not one to dismiss just yet.
