Followed up a sound return to action at Southwell with a solid win at Aintree last month. Raised 6lb for that but this C&D winner stays well and has sound claims of running well once again.
Front-runner who was winning the same race for the second year running when winning here over 2m4f (good) last month. Failed to back that up at Aintree last time and now his correct mark has kicked in this could be tougher.
Hasn't run over fences since he lost his way in this sphere back in April 2017. More promise over hurdles of late and interesting to see if the addition of can spark him back to life over fences.
Pretty consistent performer who just fails to get his head in front. Disappointing here over hurdles last time but reverts back to fences today. Needs to be at his best against a couple of these.
Smart performer on his day but not been at his best over hurdles so far this year. Hopes pinned on a return to fences sparking him back into life here as others are in better form.
Been mixing hurdling and chasing so far this year without success. Gets in here off a light weight with Richard Johnson booked so any market move should be noted.
Multiple point winner earlier this year and eased his way to a couple wins returning under Rules before a more hard fought victory at Ffos Las last time. Up another 7lb which makes life tougher but no saying where the progress will end.
Forecasts
Lotus Pond (9/4), Ballyboker Breeze (5/2), Swingbridge (11/2), Petrou (7/1), Indian Temple (8/1), Knock House (11/1), Flaxen Flare (20/1)
LOTUS POND is on such a roll that he is hard to oppose in this. He has sound claims of gaining another success despite his rise in the weights. Ballybroker Breeze won well last time and is feared, which the blinkers could spark Knock House back into life too.
