Dubawi colt, dam a Listed winner and half-sister to a juvenile winner who placed in Group class. Ran with credit on debut over 7f at Newmarket. That looks like useful form and he's a leading player provided the drop back to 6f doesn't catch him out.
Charm Spirit gelding, half-brother to a 7f winner. Dam a juvenile winner who went on to win at Listed level. Showed very little when beaten 11L last of six on debut at Newbury and others preferred here.
Acclamation colt, cost 58,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a 7f AW winner and sister to a 1m winner. Encouraging debut at Windsor and first past the post at Ascot (demoted to second). Has hung under pressure on both starts but he's a nice prospect.
Coach House colt, cost 125,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to three winners including two juvenile winners over a bit further. Dam a half-brother to a Listed winner over this trip. Well beaten on debut at Ascot but should improve for that.
Exceed And Excel colt, brother to juvenile winner. Dam placed in Listed class and half-sister to Listed winner. Yard's debutantes often ready for the experience and they do well at this meeting, including a win in this in 2009. Market can guide.
Garswood colt, cost 31,000 gns as a foal and £50,000 as a yearling. Dam a Listed winning sprinter and sister to two more useful sprinters. Yard have a decent strike-rate with debutantes and he's bred for this test. Interesting runner.
Charm Spirit gelding, cost 42,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to six winners including a juvenile Group 3 winner over this trip. Running well in defeat in three starts to date but has plenty on his plate here and looks vulnerable.
Tamayuz colt, cost 95,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to eight winners including several juvenile winners. Very green on debut at Doncaster but stayed on to finish third of 14 and will have learnt plenty from that. Interesting runner.
Kodiac colt, cost 170,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a winner and half-sister to a juvenile Listed winner over 5f. Speedily bred and market likely to reveal expectations here. Can't be ruled out.
Compton Place colt, half-brother to two winners and dam a 7f winner. Unplaced in a pair of Windsor maidens and while there was promise in each of those runs, he's likely up against it here.
Toronado colt, half-brother to two winners over further. Dam a 7f US Grade 1 winner. Well bred but there's a suspicion he might want more of a stamina test than this. Yard capable of readying debutantes and not ruled out with Moore in the saddle.

Al Mureib (2/1), Dirty Rascal (11/4), Gainsborough Hat (5/1), Watan (6/1), Napanook (15/2), Serengeti Song (14/1), Reeves (16/1), Enough Already (25/1), Get The Rhythm (25/1), Rhydwyn (33/1), Sussex Solo (80/1), Conspiritor (100/1)
REEVES produced an eye-catching debut performance at Doncaster and the runner-up has come out and won since. The colt was still very green that day and he's likely to take a sizable step forward from that effort here. Similar can be said for Serengeti Song who will benefit from his debut while Watan is the one who makes most appeal from the debutantes in the line up in the hope he has the speed for this test.
- Reeves
- Serengeti Song
- Watan
