Habitual slow starter who hasn't won since 2016 but has posted signs of a return to form recently. Not to be fully trusted given her starting faults.

Verdict

BEAU SATCHEL can land the closing race of day two of the Galway Festival following a number of tough and gutsy displays over recent months. Triple C&D winner the eight-year-old won this race in 2015 and 2016 before finishing sixth of 16 in this contest 12-months ago. Hasselnott, third in this race last year could prove to be the selections biggest danger along with Dance Alone and Alans Pride who deserve consideration.
