Soundly beaten on first two starts, but much more like it when 1¼L second of 8 to Quiet Waters at Lingfield (6f, turf) last time, showing speed. Drop to 5f will suit on that evidence, and every chance here.
Has failed to beat a rival on either start, but this expensive purchase hasn't shaped as badly as results would suggest, and no surprise to see him fare much better now.
Has looked badly in need of the experience when down the field on both starts, and while he should do better in time, low-grade handicaps would look a better medium.
Sir Percy half-brother to 5f winner Grandfather Tom. Better effort to date when 6L last of 8 to Phoenix Star at Yarmouth, but debatable what that form is worth.
Out of Group 3 winner Alsindi, and sister to useful 7f-1m winner Big Tour. Too keen to do herself justice on either start, but clearly has plenty of ability if she can channel it effectively. Entered in Lowther Stakes.
Has finished well held on both starts to date, although did show the speed to lead for a fair way at Newbury (6f) last time (tongue tied), and may well do better, with the drop to 5f likely to help.
War Command half-sister to three winners, but didn't show a great deal when 6¼L seventh of 8 to Concierge in a C&D maiden two weeks ago. Should do better, but others have more pressing claims.
Dansili filly from excellent family of pattern winners Inchinor and Inchmurrin. Starts out a trip which is likely to be sharp enough on pedigree, but worth a market check.
Cheap purchase who hasn't beaten a rival in two starts, although did show speed to lead at Chepstow before finishing well beaten. No appeal at this level.
Has shown some speed in a couple of outings, the most recent over C&D, but ultimately well held, and makes no great appeal again.
By Zebedee out of a maiden half-sister to smart miler Gabrial. Not beaten up when ninth of 14 to Ginger Nut over C&D on debut, and again showed plenty when mid-division at Newbury last time. Better to come, and considered in an uncompetitive event.
Forecasts
Good Luck Fox (6/4), Across The Sea (5/2), Vino Rosso (6/1), Dandy Lad (7/1), Isango (10/1), Tomshalfbrother (25/1), Rajman (28/1), Anonymous Blonde (33/1), Athena Star (50/1), Sister's Act (100/1), Nagging Doubt (100/1)
VINO ROSSO has promised more when mid-field in novices over C&D and at Newbury so far, and she will find this task easier. Across The Sea holds a Lowther entry, and is clearly better than she's shown. She will go well if consenting to settle, while Dandy Lad is getting his act together, and will appreciate the drop to five furlongs.
