Dual distance winner with the sole win on turf over this trip came in a Listowel handicap over three years ago off a 9lb higher mark. Has clearly regressed over time and looks opposable here.

Forecasts

La Novia (4/1), Guanabara Bay (11/2), Idalia (6/1), Aubineau (6/1), Button Popper (9/1), Dreams Of Winter (9/1), Hey Pretty (10/1), Stamp Of Authority (12/1), Tyrconnell (14/1), A Few Dollars More (14/1), Amazing One (16/1), Mo Henry (18/1), Althib (20/1), Kodiac's Back (25/1), Scobias (25/1), Chosen Rock (40/1)

Verdict

Winner over this trip earlier this month winning a Fairyhouse handicap when ridden clear in the closing stages to win by ¾L, LA NOVIA can take advantage of her good form and low weight to see off the attentions of Guanabara Bay and Landline who can hit the the frame. The David Marnane gelding Kodiacs Back is better than his bare form suggests and is worthy of consideration.
  1. La Novia
  2. Guanabara Bay
  3. Kodiac's Back
