Last win came in a Doncaster fillies' handicap (1m4f, good to firm) this time last year. Second in both Listed and Group 3 company since then. Not seen since October, but ran well when fresh last year and won't mind if ground goes good to soft.
Turf wins have come on good ground or faster at up to this trip. Scored last time on AW at Chelmsford (1m2f) in handicap company and a 9lb rise means a return to this grade (placed in Listed company last year). Each-way possibilities.
Stays 1m5½f and four of her five wins have come over further than this, with only one on turf. Runner-up in this grade at Ayr in May (1m2f, good to firm), but this looks a little tougher, so more is required.
Wolverhampton novice winner (1m½f, AW) in April, but held in both Group 3 at Epsom and Listed company at Pontefract last time. Now blinkered and plenty to find on that evidence.
Dubawi filly who won back-to-back races in May, the latter being over C&D (good to firm). Bettered that when runner-up in this grade at Sandown (beaten ¾L) last time. Improving and a leading player here.
Improving filly who has made a good transition from 7f to 1m2f this season, winning over 1m½f at Nottingham in May. Beaten 1¾L when second in a Newcastle Group 3 (1m2f, AW) latest. Considered.
Forecasts
Desert Diamond (5/6), Pleasant Surprise (7/2), Rasima (5/1), Singyoursong (12/1), Stage Name (16/1), Snowy Winter (20/1)
Pleasant Surprise has to be taken very seriously here, despite the lack of a recent run and can go close, but preference is for DESERT DIAMOND, who is proven over C&D and who is improving. Rasima and Singyoursong are others likely to be in the hunt for minor honours.
