Has finished second on her last two chase starts but ultimately beaten quite a long way at Sotuhwell over this trip last time. Should run her race again but has to give weight away all round here.
Jumped left quite a bit on her last chase start at Kempton in May and burst a blood vessel. Beaten a very long way back over hurdles last time and now has plenty of questions to answer.
Wind operation and switch to this yard did the trick when he won comfortably here over 2m4f three weeks ago. Up 10lb but this trip is likely to suit and he has sound claims of following up.
Hasn't been seen for well over a year and two chase starts so far included plenty of jumping errors. Fitness needs to be taken on trust and jumping errors need brushing up but should do better at some point.
Racked up a quick-fire hat-trick over hurdles at this time last year. Struggled off this higher mark when last seen in November. Has had a wind operation now and makes chase debut, market check very much needed.
Not been with this yard very long but chase and point form is worrying having failed to complete so many times. Unshipped his jockey at Perth two weeks ago and jumping errors are a worry.
Two runs so far this year have not amounted to much but should be at peak fitness now. Makes chasing debut off a 4lb higher mark than his last hurdles win but potential to do well in this sphere.
Forecasts
Premier King (4/6), The Wicket Chicken (7/2), Shanksforamillion (12/1), Royal Supremo (14/1), West Torr (14/1), Swinton Diamond (20/1), Sulamani The Late (50/1)
Shanksforamillion has ideal conditions for his chase debut and having had wind surgery could be a leading player on his return. The Wicket Chicken is consistent and is likely to run her race once again. Preference is for PREMIER KING who improved no-end for a switch to this yard and having a wind operation when bolting up here over shorter last time. This trip should suit and he's a major player once again.
- Premier King
- Shanksforamillion
- The Wicket Chicken
